Final Fantasy XIV Recently news, with the game's seasonal event, the Hatching Tide, and a significant hardware update to the North American Data Center. The event kicked off on Monday, March 27th, and will run until Monday, April 10th, offering players a chance to explore the Old Gardenia at the Mikito Amphitheater and complete the Get Along and Play Knife quest.
One of the most exciting rewards for the event is the full-size Tonberry suit, which is available for all races. Players can also earn the Frightened emote, Orchestrion Roll, Papaya, and a D-Mastered Papaya. It's an excellent opportunity for players to take a break from the usual grind and enjoy some fun, festive content.
However, the upcoming 24-hour maintenance window from Monday, April 3rd, to Tuesday, April 4th, may cause some disruption for players. All worlds across all physical and logical Data Centers will be affected by the maintenance, which is happening alongside the 6.38 update when Savage unlocks. Players should prepare accordingly and make sure they have everything they need before the maintenance period starts.
