FFXIV Splendorous Tool Quest in Patch 6.35 Guides

FFXIV Patch 6.35 just came out and it included the first step of the Splendorous Relics. To start the quest, the player must have finished the main scenario quest and the Crystarium Delivery quests. The quest requires the player to equip a Prototype Blacksmith Tool and then undertake the Blacksmith Augmented quest. Completing the steps rewards players with augmented tools.



Unlock Grinding

To unlock grinding, you must first have finished the Main Scenario Quest (MSQ) and the Crystarium Delivery Quest.


Equip the Prototype Blacksmith Tool

After unlocking grinding, purchase the Prototype Blacksmith Tool from the Splendors Exchange in the same place you can buy White Crafter's Scripts. Equip it in your inventory.


Complete the Quest Undertake a Blacksmith Augmented

To complete the quest, you must craft the two items listed in the recipe. The first item is a Far Fried Young Gold or As Minor, which you must acquire on your own. The second item is the Select Manganese Ingot, which you can purchase from the White Crafter's Script Exchange.


Use the Crafting Macro

To craft the two items listed in the recipe, use the macro provided below. This macro requires at least 3,901 Craftsmanship and Control, and no food is needed.


Complete the Quest

Once you have all the required materials, and you have your Prototype Blacksmith Tool equipped, you can complete the quest and move on to the next step in the Crafting Relic.
